This depends on the property and the amount of items, in our opinion advertising for a month is a great rule of thumb for an entire household worth of content ! We will do sales of course a lot faster, and in most cases the sell is set up for days before the actual public sale, yet the customer turn out is better when advertised for the month prior.
Our percentage is 30% of sales, before sales tax. Sales tax is taken from the clients proceeds and remitted to the state. Our commission is the same if we use popular online platforms to auction your items as well.
Yes, we charge a set rate for your Estate for the sorting, cleaning, donating, and removal of unwanted items. This varies by the size and type of property and will be included in our communication after the initial walk through.
We get this one a lot! We don’t shop at our own sales, unless we have already worked with you on a price for a specific item. Rarely does this happen. We will always recommend hosting a sale, before making an offer on your items.
We come to you, for an initial meeting to look around your property, take some photos, and follow up with you with a game plan that goes through the entire process.
No! We actually require that during the Estate Sale or Downsizing sale you are not on the property. This allows us to work without hindrance, and allows us to focus on the customers wants and needs rather than emotional attachment to items.
